Estate Planning
Preparing documents such as Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Advance Directives and more is part of Estate Planning. Estate Planning is the process of developing a strategy to manage your personal, family and business affairs in the event of your death or incapacity. Simply put, if you died or became disabled, how would you care for yourself and the persons, pets and items for which you are responsible? Estate planning typically includes the preparation of legal documents and several considerations like your unique family circumstances, estate taxes, how your assets are owned, and beneficiary designations. Estate planning is important regardless of your age, wealth or marital status. A proper estate plan helps you retain control of your affairs while reducing uncertainty, stress and family conflict.
We have a diverse group of estate planning clients. We have assisted adults of all ages, from persons who are 18 years old to persons who are well over 90 years old. We have developed estate plans for single persons (with and without children) and couples (with and without children). Some of our clients are quite wealthy, and some of our clients have very few assets. Many of our clients have estate plans that simply need to be updated, yet many other clients have never done any estate planning prior to speaking with us. We strive to apply our philosophy of care, service, and professionalism to all of our clients.
Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
