elizabethAttorney Elizabeth Burkett

Elizabeth A. Burkett formed Burkett Law Offices, LLC in the Spring of 2005. Since its inception Elizabeth has focused her practice of law on estate planning and administration and elder law. Elizabeth has taught numerous community seminars on various estate planning topics and she has taught continuing education courses to social workers and other professionals. Prior to forming Burkett Law Offices, LLC, Elizabeth co-owned the law firm of Witt Burkett, LLC. Elizabeth earned her law degree and her M.B.A. degree from Duquesne University, where she was the Assistant Editor for the Business Law Journal. Elizabeth graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.S. in Accounting.

Elizabeth is an active member of the Monroeville United Methodist Church, where she coordinates “Senior Saturdays”, a monthly fellowship and outreach program for over 150 senior citizens in the local area. Elizabeth was named the 2011 Community Volunteer of the Year by the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce for her work with Senior Saturdays. Elizabeth and her sister have been family caregivers for their grandmother for the past nine years.

susanAttorney Susan Burkett

Susan A. Burkett joined Burkett Law Offices, LLC in September 2005. Prior to joining Burkett Law, Susan served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Justin M. Johnson of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Susan earned her law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law, where she graduated in the top fifth of her class. She graduated from Grove City College with a B.S. in Mathematics.

Susan serves at Monroeville United Methodist Church as the Lay Leader and Chairperson of the Program and Administrative Council. She was named the 2006 Young Business Leader of the Year by the Monroeville Area Chamber of Commerce. She loves to play the marimba (a musical instrument similar to a xylophone) and walk with her dog, Maggie May, but not at the same time.
